Accounting software comes in many shapes and sizes. There's software geared to the small, mid or enterprise sized companies. Typically, each package contains separate modules for general ledger, accounts payables, accounts receivables, inventory, payroll, job cost and purchasing. Many packages are web-based and offer many customization options.
