Deneb has been in existence since the seventies and was developed for contractors to meet the needs of this industry. Deneb Solutions (The predecessor system) has been available since 1984. Over 1,200 construction (250 currently under maintenance) companies are using Deneb Solutions. The makeup of the Deneb Solutions customer base is 70 % specialty (primarily electrical and subcontractors who deal with man hours rather than units), 25 % general contractors (primarily with their own labor crews) and 5% highway/heavy contractors. WinJob is geared to the same marketplace as Deneb Solutions.

WinJob is written in a native Windows 32 bit program set requiring Windows 2000, or XP. WinJob offers ten modules including Job Cost, Estimating, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Purchase Orders, Inventory, General Ledger, Bank Reconciliation, and Order Entry/Work Order.
