GE Medical Systems Information Technologies produces both a medical practice management and electronic medical records software called Centricity® Physician Office - Practice Management (formerly Millbrook Practice Manager®) and Centricity EMR (formerly Logician®). Both products were acquired in 2002/2003 and have been integrated. Both Millbrook and Logician had a large installation base.

General Electric is a publicly traded company and is marketing GE Medical Systems as GE Healthcare. In May 2001, TEPR awarded Millbrook first honors as the best practice management system in the U.S. Millbrook software was also selected as the best medical practice management system running on Windows NT and SQL Server in 1997, 1998 and again in 1999 by the Microsoft Healthcare Users Group (MS-HUG). Millbrook is the only company to have received this award for three consecutive years.

Centricity® clients can range from a one physician office to a couple of hundred. But this product is typically are found in 5+ physician offices. The product is primarily found in Ambulatory Settings, Academic Medical Centers, DME Firms, Billing Services, Cancer/Oncology Centers, Emergency Departments, Home Health Agencies, Mental Health Centers, Medical Imaging Centers, Outpatient Departments, Physician Hospital Organizations, Surgery Centers and Urgent Care Centers but it supports all specialities.
