If there were serious questions about the terms of Meaningful Use being radically changed, they have been answered by the re-election of President Obama and the continuing control of the Senate by the Democratic party. Obamacare and the general outline of EMR and EHR Meaningful Use Requirements for physicians and healthcare centers using EMR, or considering using EMR, will surely continue apace. Don’t count on any late reprieves on reporting requirements for Meaningful Use. And be sure that the US government will continue to press the case for doctors moving whole-heartedly into electronic medical records.
