Medisoft provides scheduling, electronic documentation of patient care, reporting, medical billing software and medical practice management software, among other basic functions, for medical practice management.

Medisoft offers a few different solutions for different kinds and sizes of medical practices: Medisoft V15 Practice Management Solutions offers Reporting, Scheduling, and Accounting and Billing Functions. It offers a number of add-on modules with enhanced functions: Medisoft Reports Professional offers a customizable reporting function with many standard reports and charting functions; The Office Hours Professional with enhanced scheduling functions; Codes on Disk to manage the procedure and diagnosis codes and download them to your system; and LabConnect, to distribute patient insurance and demographic data from your practice management system to a laboratory lab order entry system.

Medisoft also offers Medisoft Clinical, which is described as a complete Practice Management / EMR solution that is affordable for smaller medical practices.

Medisoft offers a separate module called RelayHealth, which verifies and confirms patient insurance information prior to patient visits, submits electronic claims, and gets verification on what payors will pay on the medical claims.
