Dexter + Chaney Announces Dates, Location For Its 11 TH Annual Users' Conference
Conference-goers will enjoy learning, networking, food, fun in one of America's favorite cities

SEATTLE, July 25, 2006: Dexter + Chaney, developer of the popular Forefront ® Construction Suite construction management and accounting software employed by construction companies nationwide, has announced dates for its 11 th annual users' conference: April 25-27, 2007, at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center on Seattle 's downtown waterfront.

Conference-goers will learn new and better ways to manage their construction operations using Forefront. They'll enjoy networking opportunities with their fellow Forefront users and Dexter + Chaney staff and experience great food and fun in one of America 's favorite cities.

Users will share ideas and suggestions with each other in nearly 50 sessions, user roundtables and other forums dedicated to Forefront. "That's a key benefit of the conference," explained John Chaney, Dexter + Chaney co-founder and president. "We get the opportunity to learn directly from our customers about their business issues, and our users learn from each other. That helps us enhance Forefront to meet their specific needs."

Chaney noted that many of the 840 new features in the latest version of Forefront resulted from customer suggestions made at previous users' conferences.

Fun, Too

"All work and no play" does not describe the Dexter + Chaney users' conference. Attendees at the 2007 event will enjoy a boat cruise on Elliott Bay and Puget Sound, featuring an elegant dinner freshly prepared on board the Royal Argosy tour boat, with constantly changing views of the city skyline, the Olympic Mountains and scenic islands.

Attendees also can experience the popular dinner/cirque/comedy/cabaret event at Seattle 's Teatro Zinzanni, featuring a five-course feast designed by celebrated chef Tom Douglas. Many users also will take advantage of the Puget Sound area's mountains, lakes, saltwater, professional sporting events, restaurants, brewpubs and countless other amenities that make it one of America 's favorite destinations.

"Users have told me that, in addition to learning about Forefront and networking with their peers, having the conference in Seattle each year is a major 'draw,'" said Chaney. "Even the weather cooperated at this year's event."

Nearly 500 Forefront users-representing 225 unique companies from 42 states-attended the 2006 users' conference this spring, also held at Bell Harbor . Fifty-seven percent had attended at least one previous conference, and 43 percent were participating in their first one-underscoring Dexter + Chaney's efforts to ensure that the conference appeals to first-time and repeat attendees.

Five users were recognized for attending all 10 conferences since the inaugural event in 1997.
