Dexter + Chaney Named a Finalist in Electrical Contracting Products' 'INNOVATION Awards' Competition

SEATTLE , September 6, 2006: Dexter + Chaney has been chosen as a finalist in the 2006 INNOVATION Awards competition sponsored by Electrical Contracting Products . The competition "recognizes outstanding companies whose products or services have best responded to electrical contractors' market challenges by offering creative and innovative ideas," according to the magazine. Dexter + Chaney won an INNOVATION Award for its Forefront® Construction Suite software in the inaugural 2005 competition.

Divided into 16 product categories, the 2006 INNOVATION Awards are judged by a panel of professional electrical contractors who will evaluate each of the product finalists on six criteria: innovation, ease of use, cost effectiveness, quality contribution, maintainability and productivity improvements. The magazine says that "finalists for this year's event include some of the most influential companies serving the $82 billion electrical contracting market." Award winners will be announced in early October.
