SEATTLE, January 27, 2010: Dexter + Chaney www.dexterchaney.com has opened registration for its 14th annual users’ conference, scheduled for April 22-23 at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center on the Seattle waterfront. More than 500 representatives of construction companies throughout the United States will learn about new features in Version 13 of Dexter + Chaney’s Spectrum® Construction Software, while networking with other users and Dexter + Chaney personnel.

Version 13
Conference-goers will learn new and better ways to utilize the new features in Version 13, whether they’ve recently upgraded to that version or are planning to do so. Those new features include a Service Request center that provides access to all of the information required to handle a customer’s service request on a single screen and a Resource Scheduling module that ensures that employees and equipment are available when and where they’re needed.
Spectrum Version 13 also features updates to Spectrum’s Work Order and Service Contract modules that provide contractors with more flexible, fully integrated construction management and service management systems in a single package. Changes to Spectrum’s popular Document Imaging module cover report archiving, batch scanning, job cost and equipment control modifications and other features.
Conference-goers also will learn about the new Spectrum™ Equipment Service System that electronically collects asset-management data for a construction company’s heavy equipment, including equipment hours, fuel usage and maintenance. Spectrum Equipment Service System eliminates the time and hassle of manual data collection that results in inaccurate and unreliable asset-management information.
Networking, Fun
Attendees will take advantage of networking opportunities and information-sharing with other Spectrum users and Dexter + Chaney personnel.
